Introducing the new Hotel Chicago!
Ajax is excited to announce the completion of renovation work at Hotel Chicago (previously Hotel Sax). Hotel Chicago is one of the newest additions to the Autograph Collection by Marriott. Ajax completed this work on behalf of hotel REIT LaSalle Hotel Properties (LHO) of Bethesda, Maryland.
As part of the conversion, Ajax oversaw the transformation of the entrance, lobby and lounge along with upgrades to the guestrooms, suites and corridors. Design work was handled by CBT Architects of Boston in collaboration with Chicago based architects VOA Associates. Construction was completed by Bulley & Andrews of Chicago. This was Ajax's second major renovation project at Hotel Chicago which is located in the iconic Marina City complex in downtown Chicago. Ajax continues to be involved at the hotel and Marina City representing the ownership group on tenant fit our projects and other larger capital projects.
Ajax completes guestroom renovation at Hyatt Boston Harbor
Ajax successfully completed the renovation of the 270 guestroom Hyatt Boston Harbor Hotel on behalf of LaSalle Hotel Properties (LHO). Construction started mid-December 2014 and was completed mid-March 2015. The renovation included new finishes, furniture, lighting and art in the guestrooms and corridors. New BDK Restaurant opens at Monaco SF
AJAX is excited to announce the completion of the build-out of the new BDK Restaurant at Hotel Monaco in San Francisco. Designed by Ken Fulk, BDK Restaurant honors Kimpton Founder Bill Drennon Kimpton and has the feeling of a modern public house making it the ideal setting for dinner or late night drinks with friends and weekend brunches with the family.
